For the very first time, we’re rolling out the red carpet for Flemish performing arts: the Sector Awards are here! Het TheaterFestival, the Acteursgilde, the Toneelschrijfprijs, and the city theatres NTGent, KVS, and Toneelhuis are joining forces for a dazzling gala evening to celebrate the full glory of performing arts talent.

In a sparkling ceremony – think glitter, spotlights, and a touch of Oscar flair – we honor the makers, performers, and writers who lit up the stage this past year. Awards will be presented for Best Acting Performance +35, -35, Best Ensemble Performance, the Toneelschrijfprijs (Playwriting Award), the Roel Verniers Award, and a Lifetime Achievement Award.

The evening is curated by the creative minds of WOLF WOLF, who promise a surprising and festive celebration that captures the magic of theatre. Of course, the night ends in style with a swinging reception: a drink in hand, music in the air, and stories that will echo long after.

The Sector Awards aim to become the annual moment where the performing arts community celebrates itself – with glamour, meaning, and a deep love for the craft. Come shine, celebrate, and be amazed. This is your night.
