The Sector Awards have a new name: welcome to the Gala of the Auras! On the 8th of September, we roll out the red carpet for Flemish performing arts. Het TheaterFestival, the Acteursgilde, the Toneelschrijfprijs and the city theatres NTGent, KVS and Toneelhuis join forces once again for a convivial evening celebrating performing arts talent in full glory.

During the ceremony, we honour the makers and performers who made the performing arts sparkle this past season. The Auras for Most Appreciated Performance +35 and -35, Most Appreciated Ensemble Play and Most Appreciated Design are presented, alongside the Roel Verniers Prize and a Career Prize.

The creative minds of the multidisciplinary SOCHA collective around Junior Mthombeni take charge of the curation of this evening, promising a surprising and festive programme that does justice to the magic of theatre. And of course, we close the evening in style with a celebratory reception.

The reception is offered by Yugen and Brasserie de la Senne.
